Job Title: Transplant Dietitian

Provides overall nutrition care to adult Transplant clinic patients associated with a hospital system located in San Antonio, Texas. Assure that nutritional needs of the individual patients are being met and that all documentation as it relates to patients nutritional status is complete and accurate. Primarily works with medically complex transplant patients who are candidates for heart, liver, or kidney transplant. Some travel involved.
The incumbent will also be involved in quality assurance activities of the Food & nutrition Services Department, providing quality food service and nutritional care. Involvement in performance improvements, patient satisfaction activities in collaboration with other Pediatric team members.
Education and Experience Requirements: Registered Dietitian with ADA and licensed dietitian with the state of Texas required. Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience with medically complex patients. Spanish language skills preferred.
